YIELD TO PEDESTRIAN SIGNS WILL BE BACK IN SPRING

What has happened to the crosswalk signs that so effectively slowed traffic and created pedestrian safety? Turns out Silent Policemen are ‘Snow Birds.’ DelDOT has gathered Centreville’s ‘Yield to Pedestrian’ signs and taken them south (to Dover) for the winter. They will be refurbished and will return in early spring after the threat of snow has passed.
Drivers are reminded to continue to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.
